We've been working on verse memorization with Maddy. Our current verse is "Share, share, share with others: Hebrews 13:16" (sung to Row, Row, Row your boat). Maddy dutifully repeats it and goes on her merry way. I've been wondering if there's any real comprehension there.
Meanwhile, Grandad came over and brought himself a 20 oz diet root beer. When Maddy saw it, she demanded that Grandad give her some. When Grandad told her she couldn't have any, she promptly informed him that "Jesus says we have to share".
Apparently something is getting through. Now we'll begin working on the fact that it applies to her, as well as others.
